That's lovely. Was it taken in NM? Or elsewhere in the southwest? I've only visited NM a couple of times but that looks like part of the stretch between Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
You live in such a beautiful place - I love this series.
Our cottonwoods are just starting to turn, too. We've had a mild fall so far. Hope you've been enjoying it.
I think my trees are going to turn between the first of Oct. and Nov. too. Your shot is still beautiful with the green trees.

I've enjoyed these slight changes from month to month. Yes, I'm sure all those leaves will be gone by November 1st. It's probably too early to look for snow on those mountains.
I hate when the leaves go away. Sigh.
