The temple is quite large in scope. However with the soft sepia, the toning down from immense is lovely, the simple shape we notice more. I like the trumpeter on top, making clorious music to the heavens. Nice!
I took pictures of snow in Moab, too. I couldn't believe it! That's a very rare thing. I love the Monticello temple picture. I may have to get a copy. I forgot to take one of it when I was there. It was a great trip!
The Utah shot is pretty cool! I envisioned cowboys struggling in the snow - too much TV in the 60's I guess. :) Love the sepia shot of the temple!I like your framing. Looks like an awesome place for a wedding.

Lovely... For a second I thought the red rock photo was fog moving in...
Yes, the temple with the statue on top looks awesome in sepia, Kaye.
My word! That's gorgeous!
My husband proposed to me in Utah. It's so lovely there.
Both photos are subtle and muted and lovely. Nice ways to present the areas you visited.
I tell you, that red rock country is really something else. Reminds me of my trip to Lake Powell.

Light and soft - just perfect for sepia :)
gorgeous pictures! I that a Mormon temple? We have something similar in MD. It can be seen for miles around.
Great pictures. The top one is fantastic.
I love the way the snow softens the lighting.
Beautiful mists in that first shot, and yes, the Temple lends itself very well to sepia.
red rock country is gorgeous!!! I love your photos!
We drove thru there not too long ago. TONS of snow. It is truly a picturesque part of the State. Thanks for sharing.
these look like part of a movie set!
I enlarged the Monticello Temple photo. Very cool building and it looks nice in the light sepia. I like how the edges are blurred and darker..
And the red rock country looks majestic!
the Moab one looks like the moon...not that I have been to the moon.
recently. ;-)
And ya know I love sepia. both excellent.

The sepia is very cool. I just love Moab. Haven't been there in a long time, but we had a wonderful time there.
Good choices for sepia.
That first one looks like something out of fantasy book ... like Tolkien or something.
wow amazing photos! love the foggy effect on the first one :)

Whoa! That's a cool sepia shot & I a wedding - Congratulations to the happy couple!
I hear Moab, Utah is a scenic place to visit, too!
I swear you live in one of the most beautiful places on this globe.
I like wandering with you Kaye :)
The snow makes everything so beautiful! :D
Both of these pictures are absolutely beautiful. I wish I could take such great pics. Found you at Wee Shenanigans!

With just the slightest bit of gold on the statue... Wonderful! :)
Very beautiful and I do like the sepia effect. Utah is a beautiful state!
Great shots Kaye. We have a temple near my house. I love to shoot it with a bright blue sky back ground. I should try doing a sepia edit on it.
Love the jagged cliffs and the patches of snow in the top photo!
The snow gives it a foggy look and adds just a little touch of mystery. Beautiful!
Nice .... I like the sepia effect!
