I've posted the picture to the left before, it's a picture of my home-made waffles fresh out of the waffle iron. My family loves them. When I make them they all show up and they want me to make a giant batch so they can take them home and put them in the freezer. They toast up nicely in the toaster for breakfast--they like them better than eggo waffles. For my book picture I thought I'd take a picture of the cook book that holds this much loved recipe. On this same page is "mom's pancake recipe". I might be the cook, but Better Homes and Garden 1977 edition is the author.
I like you need to fix that, looks like it might fall apart any moment but it is nice to know things like recipes can be pass on from generation to generation
My mom had one of these.. with the notes in the margins about doubling the recipe. The family meatloaf recipe came from the Betty Crocker children's cookbook I got when I was nine. That is still the main recipe and the book is so tattered. Your cookbook is much loved. My books are up here.

Excellent choice, Kaye....and I have the same cookbook and table. My family loves waffles, too, but I usually use the bisquick recipe.
wonderful shot of a greatly loved book. errrrr....do i really have to keep the hair on my toes?
A well used and much loved cookbook. There are probably a lot of wonderful memories in that book too. Great shot, the waffles are making me hungry.
I love to eat, so I can appreciate the years of wonderful cooking that book has been part off. Great idea for the theme and the waffles look so good.
